Beyond the Broadcast: Our Bold New Season Begins. Watch Now ->
The Hebrew phrase l’dor v’dor means “from generation to generation.” It carries the beautiful responsibility God gave the Jewish people to remember what He has done and to faithfully pass it on to those who come after them.
In Exodus 10:2, God tells Moses that He is revealing His mighty works so that His people may tell their children and grandchildren about them. We see this same heart throughout Scripture: one generation declaring the works of the Lord to the next.
“One generation will praise Your works to another and declare Your mighty acts.”
—Psalm 145:4 TLV
We witnessed a wonderful glimpse of this at our recent Medical Outreach. Young adults from around the world served alongside veteran Outreach Partners in Zimbabwe, praying for people in the Prayer Tent and witnessing God answer in extraordinary ways. Their faith was strengthened as they saw deaf ears opened and people who arrived on stretchers walk out praising God.
As our team returns soon from Malawi, where Israeli young adults have witnessed God move among the Lemba Jewish community there, we are reminded that God is not only reaching communities with the Good News – He is also raising up those who will carry that Good News forward.
During this season of Elul, as we prepare our hearts for the High Holidays and the coming Hebrew year 5787, would you join us in praying for what God is doing from generation to generation?

Weacknowledge that we are only a small part of the work You desire to carry outin our day. Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.During this season of preparation in the month of Elul, give us soft heartsthat return to You. Show us anywhere we have gone astray.
We need Your grace to run therace with endurance, but first, Lord, teach us to sit at Your feet. Quiet ourhearts so that we can hear Your voice. Keep us from running ahead of You orrelying on our own understanding. May everything we do flow from knowing You,hearing You, trusting You, and obediently doing what You say.
We thank You for wisdom toraise up those who will carry the Good News forward, laborers to join us in thework, guidance to steward all You have entrusted to us, and clarity for thepath ahead in the Jewish year 5787 and beyond. In Yeshua’s Name, Amen.

We are headed to Central Zimbabwe for our summer Outreach, July 9–19. We have been to this region before, but it will be our first Outreach in this location since the local Lemba believing community, Messianic Jewish Voice Zimbabwe (MJVMZ), has taken leadership of services at Mposi Clinic, the site of JVMI’s very first Outreach to Zimbabwe.
